Subject: [MBZ] E320 hovercraft is really screwed up now
Folks
The 2002 E320 hovercraft wagon is really screwed up now!!
We drove it around the block last night
It had been losing a quart of water in say a 50 mile trip
Folks,
I like the stop leak for the human body thoughts….. aspirin or blood thinners
DO thin blood to the point that bleeding is harder to stop and I assume there
are drugs to thicken it for surgery for example.
As for epoxy leak stop additive or whatever it is …. Perhaps it only hardens

Would you cure bleeding from cuts by pouring 'stop-leak' into your bloodstream?

A magic potion poured into the radiator typically will not fix a head gasket
leak, any more than "leak stop" in air conditioning refrigerant will fix a
leaking seal or evaporator. Or if it does it's not for long. And if it actually
does plug it up, what else is it going to plug up?
I suppose
prices
to begin to fall by autumn. For sure by thanksgiving.

On the way home last night I was fooling around and stomped the accelerator
hard at about 10 mph and then made a hard left corner
Holy crack

Get the belt tensioner from Advance Auto. The last one I got was a Litens

Folks,
So I removed the front pan of the E320 hovercraft 2002 wagon this afternoon.
After running the engine a while I was able to see that the water leak was
coming from the coolant reservoir overflow. The car came with the wrong cap ….
I ordered one and was sent a screw on plastic one … I

Folks
I did some more experiments
The radiator is dry and looks brand new
I idled the car for 15 minutes and SAW no leaks but it is dripping
Maybe it’s the lower radiator hose …. Can’t touch it when it’s hot or SEE it
leaking
I guess I need to get less lazy and remove the plastic pan

Folks,
So I prescribed the system and nada … no leaks that I could see, or see on the
ground or hear
I did this with the car cold
I bought a $12 kit of liquid
I've had leaks that only leaked when the system was hot, and the escaping
liquid quickly evaporated so it was hard to find them.
Any scent of glycol in the exhaust? White smoke or steam?
I presume a wagon has a rear heater core, did you check for leaks along the
length of the car and not just

I bought a $12 kit of liquid to put in a bag in the reservoir… maybe it has a

15psi is safe?
Should I drain and inspect the oil …. It’s
