I also knew Richard. Funny I knew him in his professional world first. He was at Warner Bros. for 25 years.He was head of Theatrical Research. My first job in the industry was theatrical research at 20th Century Fox. Richard warmly welcomed me to the club and was generous in sharing advice

I think that Richard was just the person that people have described here. I always enjoyed speaking with Richard, and I’m saddened that he has passed. I remember that he said some particularly encouraging things to me at a time when I was down and you don’t forget something like that. Kirby
