I also knew Richard. Funny I knew him in his professional world first. He was at Warner Bros. for 25 years.He was head of Theatrical Research. My first job in the industry was theatrical research at 20th Century Fox. Richard warmly welcomed me to the club and was generous in sharing advice

I too knew Rich to be a very kind, encouraging and smart man. Only by emails did we communicate, but always thoughtful. How sad I am to know that he has left us and this hobby but I know that there can be a blessing in these tragic days. He is beyond the struggle now. -Original
