reason, the DPMS is missing from my control Center in MDK 7.0. I know I had
it in MDK 6.1, I'll have another look. At least I know that it is still

You can always install the DPMSi...rpm as root, if it is missing.
I also had troubles configuring X during mdk 7.1 install. It was because I
couldn't figure out how to configure XFree4.0 with my voodoo3 2000 (has
someone here done it?) and I didn't know how to reverse my choice of using

I had a similar problem under Mandrake 6.1 and solved it by upgrading to 7.0. Under
6.1, I hadn't installed PCMCIA explicitly,
'cause I didn't have a PCMCIA card at that point), and even though the boot script
said it was started, it wasn't. With the

list that needs that package. Pretty strange way to do it, fortunately
I went back over the list three times before I went on to the next step.

option to get my Ultimate Doom working. You may want to try that too. Good
