How do you set a proxy for commandline connections? I need to use http access here at work and everything goes through a proxy. I can't get to the http mirrors for urpmi. I assume it is my proxy not setup for commandline communications. Thanks. Troy Davidson Linux User #311107

I hate to sound stupid, but why couldn't you just go with any DSL provider, and get a DSL router-hub? Then, the router can do NAT and firewall and you can put any number of machines behind the router. Just a thought. Not sure if you have already thought of that or not. Troy Davidson Linux
