Guys, you're beating yourselves up for nothing on this. After you add Thac's RPM's to urpmi, take a moment to install the ICE desktop or some other one. Chances are that you'll have at least 2 desktop environments installed anyway. Log out of KDE, and log back in as root or a normal user, but
