It appears to be the poor man's house, hence 8mm required.
Guess at a 1 or 2DK.

Lon, mind if I ask you (and other wizards) about this very lens. Is it
heavy? How's it optically? Is there A version?

No wizard, me. But I do own one. The M-200 f/4 is smallish,
52mm thread, built-in hood. I like mine a lot, although scans
often show slight chromatic problems (yellowish fringe on one
side of an object, bluish on the other). I assume, therefore,
no APO elements were used to construct it. The

Hi,
An interesting selection of gear. Especially the LX titanium(?) plus
winder and battery pack thrown on the top of the pile. I don't look
after my own gear as well as I would like (yes, there is Irish blood in

Do they do this because the price of land (space) is so precious
and the price of Pentax gear is so cheap? (relatively speaking g )

Is this a private collection or does this guy own a store? If this is
just a hobby, I think we can safely say that he's not bothered by the
price of the *istD. Maybe we could write to him and have a PDML meeting
at his house. He certainly justifies the pentax-fan title in the
URL.

This is an interesting question to me because I normally carry 4 lenses in
my camera bag.
24mm/2.0 Vivitar
50mm/1.7 Pentax-M
100mm/2.8 Pentax-M
80/200mm/2.8 Tokina
+ a 2x teleconverter to make the Tokina a 160-400/5.6
The reason I use the Vivitar and the 1.7 is because the M24/2.8 and M50/1.4
And, then again, maybe it is a set up studio shot.

Hi. I am new to this group, but not new to Pentax. I have been happily using Pentax
equipment for 15 years. The four lenses that I would not be without are:
1. 20mm f2.8
2. 31mm limited
3. 77mm limited
4. Tamron 24-135mm SP zoom
The quality of the Limited lenses speak for themselves, the 20mm

The first set of images appear to be mostly OOF. Either that or the

The second link has images that are really lacking in contrast, its
mostly because of the drab lighting. He should have picked a nicer day.
Thanks for the links though, they are informative

Good grief! Did you see the pile of random Pentax gear on the counter

Wow. Those limiteds are amazing. And they appear to be wide open too!
