Luis, first, you seem to be using Homebrew R so you're pretty much on your own (=ask the Homebrew maintainer) since we don't support that. (In official R you do NOT want to use sudo as Jeff pointed out) That said, you can try the latest rJava 0.9-10 version (see http://rforge.net/rJava )
