Steve, a year ago I really wanted a dark gold Susie. They were all gone so I “settled” on a mermaid Gus. At least that was what I thought until it arrived. Nothing bad boy perhaps but I really like the color in person. Actually it’s a pretty bad ass bike.:) oh by the way the purple bikes are sweet

In defense of Sheldon he merely referred to the frames as Lady's Bikes, which was how they were promoted in bike catalogues for many decades. I think he was just using the nomenclature he grew up with and thought readers would know them by. I'm 61 and still have that reference in my head but
