I know replicant comes from lineage os. And maybe nothing is gained
from a repnonfree system compared to a lineage os system. Wrongly I had the
impression that replicant search for unwanted monitoring pieces of software
and remove it should they find

purism is not an adequate example. I believe purism intentionally have
misinformed people in order to have them think their products
run on free software.

Does that mean that usb rt2500 wifi cards require
non free software, but it is located on the usb
device?

which had disconnected. After reconnecting

I am a layperson and I cannot argue with you. If you

then move it to pinephone,

Can I write you his email address directly?
Thanks. I suggest this plan.
I tell the pinephone chief, he can expect an email
from you.
You email him. In the email you should ask
for a price. You should specify what you
intend to do with the phones.
After asking the ceo of pine64, the company which
manufactures the pinephone, some
questions in a pm on the pine64 forum, he answered me.
He says, he wants to ship pinephones to a
replicant manager. He did not
tell which version of the pinephone, prices or
anything else.
He wants a replicant

there are already funds for this sort of purchases
so I'm sure we can
use those if a developer willing to do this work
appears.
Then let us crowd fund paying the
software programmers.

Not if pine64's financial records show that pine64
has little to give. Then we should not strong
arm them.
