Dear Colleagues, I am Satoru Tsurumaki from Japan Open Policy Forum Steering Team. I would like to share key feedback in our community for prop-152, based on a meeting we organised on 30th Aug to discuss these proposals. Almostly support opinions were expressed about this proposal. (comment

Hi Andre, I really think it is much worst … 1) I don’t want to authenticate myself every 15 minutes to read an archive. Even worst, I don’t think authentication must be enforced to read and search anything. I don’t think I’ve “enabled” it myself … I understand that is needed to register to a

Hi Jordi, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with Orbit, we take these seriously because our aim is to enhance, not worsen, the user experience. Although we have done numerous feedback sessions with Admins, Moderators and super users in the community, we always need more feedback.

In my opinion the whole point of the email archives is that you can send an email (I do this way), then I don’t need to keep it anymore in my client/server, because if I need to point to that email in the future, I know it will be archived and I will be able to send back a link to it. I always

Hi Paul, I expect a new system to be tested and may be no just by staff but also some “heavy users” before being deployed. Either it’s me not being able to use it properly or some functions are too hidden or just aren’t there. It took me 15 minutes to find an email and I with mailman is a

BTW Jordi, you can keep using email if you prefer it, for participation in any of the APNIC lists. The whole point of Orbit is to offer a web interface to the same lists; but of course no messages should be lost in the translation. If they are, that's a serious bug. Paul. Get BlueMail for

Very sorry to hear about this Jordi. It seems like a serious issue, so it'll be investigated urgently. But I do hope Orbit isn't rubbish. It's being used quite heavily and the feedback seems to be ok. But it is new and definitely needs improvement, so if you can bear with it and report your

Hi, Why not setting the time to be always Brisbane, not changing with every meeting? I think is much easier and coherent … I will say: “A policy proposal must go through the following chronological steps in order to be adopted by APNIC. The time and date are set to the official APNIC location.
