I had Pidgin running smoothly... Then I had to change my password.
Obviously Pidgin disconnected, but then I updated my password in the
client, and to my surprise all my contacts now appear offline. I purged
Pidgin and reinstalled it, I tried other XMPP clients, and I removed

I can't see offline contacts, what can I do?
Any suggestions about it?

There's a "suggested contacts" list that you can invite people to the new
messenger with but this is embedded into the website and I haven't yet
found an api call that can be made to retrieve that list.

You can add buddies through the Buddies->Add Buddy... menu from the buddy
list. We don't have a way of importing buddies from an email contact list
though.

Hello, my problem is the following one: When I try to add a new contact, the
Pidgin messenger says the contact can't be added because the email address is
invalid. I know that the emails I add are valid (I've already confirmed with
