Hi,
I wonder if TW can be used as a mediadatabase. I hope you know the
program WhereIsIt?. WII reads CD/DVD discs and store the information
in a database. Can TW do the same?

Hi Richard
I've done lots of work fixing up the family tree application this
weekend.
The best place to use it is now on the TiddlySpace service at
http://familytree.tiddlyspace.com
If you are prepared to create your family tree on a TiddlySpace that
would be brilliant. I will be able to fix any
Hi Sanna
+ i am also wanting to get certain new tiddlers to open with certain
text prompting already in it (basically an 'open new worksheet' link
that would open a new tiddler that already had certain text i'd
written, and then blanks i could fill in, which would not be text

Hi Tobias
Ah, what the heck, yet another update...
*added the ability to search for keywords (tags), too
*now displays the rating and duration below the result titles
GREAT :-)
This is downright beautiful - and totally awesome
Thanks a lot for developing/sharing this wonderfully integrated
Ha ha - It's just *SO* much better constructed than YouTubes own
displays of search and related videos :-)
I simply *LOVE* that you can play related videos and *NOT* loose sight
of the original search result!!!
Thanks again Tobias - This is now my preferred way of diggin' YouTube
videos!
Cheers
Hi again
+ does anyone know about any good tiddlywiki intermediate
documentation? the tiddlywiki for the rest of us 'advanced users'
information is already stuff that makes sense and is familiar to me,
and i am having a hard time navigating the tiddlywiki.org site to find
what i am looking

Hi
Have a look at my neu-em [1] theme. I am using taggly tagging there,
but I did the taged list, on the left side of the tiddler content.
The tagglyTagged macro is at the bottom of the tiddler.
Include:
neui-em .. to get the theme
neui-tagsearch .. to get tobibeers tagsearchplugin + some CSS
WhereIsIt was a nice piece of software. However, I rarely used it.
Isntead, I had rather quickly given up ...not on WhereIsIt but on the
concept of using discs for storage altogether. Once on usb drives, I
never looked back.
Therefore, I would say such a usecase is *total* overkill. I would not
Hi anyone and everyone!
I've just set up a TW on Tiddlyspot.com but I want it to be for my
eyes only. Although I have ticked this option, when I go to my URL my
page is on display and does not request a password to access it. Any
ideas on why/ what I must do to get the privacy to work?
I know

I've noticed that as well and love that part of it, too. Not only that
you don't loose the search results... the opposite is also true. You

I would also like to notice one detail which however tends to be of
little concern to the most of the public. The thing is the hendheld
use of TW. You see, in the Opera Mobile (and I think in most of
others) double click causes browser to zoom in or out, so it would be
very important to add some
Dear Toby
I tried ur theme in mylearningspace
http://mylearningspace.tiddlyspace.com. It was great.
I removed the float pluggin.
But i don't know, how to remove the search box.
If i can print the tiddler without the search box, then my printouts of
poems will be looking good.

For such a system I would recommend at least the following...
[1] TagglyTagging - especially the sitemap feature
[2] GotoPlugin + SimpleSearchPlugin - to search fast and simple
[3] TagSearchPlugin - for easy accessing and tagging to categories
Maybe too much for starters, but you can see these
hi, Måns -

As for removing elements like search from being printed, I would
recommend putting something like this into your StyleSheet tiddler (or
into StyleSheetSpace when using tbTheme).
@media print{
#sidebarSearch{display: none ! important;}

basic things like the background color of the hover menu buttons, but
have been unable to figure out other things that i want to change

Thanks Pmario! you've created a wonderful theme there!

Hi Sanna,
First of all, this is the first time I am using All is text to
respond to a group post, and I have to say... using my preferred text-
editor is a whole lot more comfortable than editing in a browsers edit

As for you Sanna, great to have you onboard and to literally feel how
you guys are really great! thanks for all the links and suggestions!!

Hi, thanks for the response but I already did that several times, ticked the
privacy option but still my tiddly page was visible to anyone. Oh, just
tried it again after closing down Firefox and it seems to ask for a
password. Guess it keeps you logged in until you close the browser? (blush)

Quite neat and especially good when things get lengthy or contain code
snippets.
