Sorry for digging up an old thread!
Is there a way to store username/password on a Touch for remote
connection to LMS? I would like to avoid entering username and passwd
when I connect
Thanks

I agree it would be best if Benchmark can help you out. Do you know
which USB chipset is used in your DAC?

I've got my Touch working with a Stello U3. This uses an XMOS USB chip.
My configuration of the Touch is different though as I use Squeezelite
as a player (and no Touch GUI). I have plans to upgrade my D-Premier to
a 240 this spring and hope that the Devialet USB input will work with my
Touch. I

Thanks for the replies guys. I just put my order in. I have heard you

Very excited to finally ditch my desktop!
Sorry to be late to this thread.. I've used an Ultra 2 Plus with LMS 7.8
for a long time. Works

Thanks.
I'm afraid you must go to the Readynas forum

I too was under the impression that EDO was capable of streaming 24/192
FLAC. My server is nothing fancy, just a basic PC running XP SP3
connected via ethernet.
I have no problems streaming 16/44 or 24/96 FLAC files. Actually I
don't really have any interest in 24/192

I think I'm going to flush TT3.0 AGAIN and give EDO by itself a try.
With this much CPU power LMS should run fine on Windows. Streaming
192kHz FLAC as PCM from one of my Linux boxes only uses around

Seems like your LMS is down sampling. Touch may be reporting 96kHz as
max to LMS for some reason. Try reinstalling the kernel

Sorry I just edited my post - I meant EDO + 7.8 As I mentioned earlier
I finally got Touch firmware to catch up to server software.
I just tried a 24-192 file sent natively to the Touch and it worked. I
then tried another from HD Tracks and it didn't. 24-192 PCM to
the next months.

Hi John,
further up this thread you say that the Touch will switch to
asynchronous mode with for example the Ayre QB-9. Which Touch firmware
is needed to achieve this?

not quite know how to check how
the Streamers are registered in the Touch.
Is your driver a separate binary with a config file or will it have to
be compiled into a firmware to work?

.. is there a DC-blocking electrolytic on the audio output of the DAC?
AKM's diagram indicate that it may be possible to do without the
electrolytic which would be great!
I've pre-ordered my Touch today and I am really looking forward to swap

..that is what I use in my current setup, but I have friends that will
be using the analog out and it is really nice to know that I won't have
to worry about cheap electrolytics in the signal path. Thanks for the
info Phil.
