Actually I'm quite happy with my humble Touch based system. I was an
early SB adopter and have converted many to it.
I#8217;m most happy when I play random music and do things about the
house. It allows me to listen to the music, not the system. But just
like the people who own megabuck systems

Yes, the question bright compared to what? has been asked at least
twice, but not answered yet. And good point re expectations, especially
with the OP's equating of bright with digital (as if CDs were
analog...).

I would echo the advice of the others but would also suggest that you
consider doing one or both of the following. One load the Triode EDO App
this does seem to help the SBT and adds some naturalness to the output
(I am talking about digital only as that is all I use ) . Two take the
time and
