Could not get the karmic version to build, but jaunty builds fine: prevu mysql-dfsg-5.1/jaunty But will not install without mysql-common-5.0, therefore it is also necessary to do: prevu mysql-dfsg-5.0/jaunty Then mysql-server-5.1 installs fine. Seems to work well on my Hardy installation. I
