Thank you for the additional details. I think you misunderstand the purpose of Application Finder. It is intended to allow you to easily find and run programs. The exact commands used are in other files. Look in /usr/share/applications and /usr/share/app-install/desktop and you should find the

Thank you for reporting this issue. Can you provide specific applications you need to run from terminal? In Xubuntu 8.04, if I right- click the item, I can select More information or Run this program. The ability to run the program means I do not have to remember the command. In Jaunty 9.04
