I don't know if this is related (i.e,. underlying libraries used), but I
have the same problem when copying from Epiphany to gnome-terminal.
(I started to comment on this originally thinking this was talking about
epiphany, not empathy :-/ ) .
Thanks for the tip/work-around: using shift+insert
I run Ubuntu 10.10 and Empathy 2.32.1 and I can confirm that copy/paste
from Empathy is broken in some circumstances.
Whenever I try to copy paste a conversation to Gmail (using Firefox
3.6.17) I'm unable to paste. I have to paste first in gedit and then re-
copy/paste to FF. On the other hand I
I can confirm this behavior in Ubuntu 10.10, Empathy 2.32.1, and gnome
terminal 2.32.0
