returns inet adr with only one d.

Same thing here. After a package upgrade, Kontact stopped working
because akregator was crashing. removing the ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator
did allow the application to start without crashing.

Nope. Developers are going to work (not yet I think) in EWS. This could help,
as Exchange 2007 has EWS support (also Exchange 2010) and it is quite easy in
OWA enabled servers to activate EWS for remote access.

If I may offer a suggestion: If i were you I would look at what is being
started and try to identify audio-related applications and services that
might be taking over the pulseaudio services in the same way that
randomsound did for me. That may have nothing to do with your problem,
but I know
