There seems to be some confusion here.
TLS_REQCERT on the client tells the client if it should check the server
certificate or not.
This is different whether or not the server checks the client
certificate or not.
I am having problems with the client checking the server certificate
(#231321),
I have now updated to version 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.1 (amd64) but the upstart
/init-script does not work. Not starting nor stopping the service.
Manual start is still working but is, at least in my case, unwanted.
During boot i get the following (as I also did before this update):

Nope - they depend on apache2.2-common, which is all what they need to
work.
It's some documentation in there that's nice to have (

noticed that every file there is duplicated in apache2.2-common (

installed service should autostart, or at least give a hint during
installation that a configuration is needed before it is able to start
up, and a short description how to accomplish that.

I did a bit of digging, and wrote a systemtap script to work out what
was happening ... and I think I know what's going on.
Nautilus is launching f-spot, this is configured in from
System-Preferences-File Management, then the Media tab. There is a
drop-down next to Photos, which lets you choose
I'd like to request a higher importance for this bug again, as we get
many people asking in IRC about this bug. It's embarrassing to show them
that the bug is considered low priority when it's a show-stopper for
so many users and probably the most complained about bug in Hardy Heron.

As a workaround, changing the %u in f-spot-import.desktop to a %f
fixes the import not showing anything, at least for importing from a

I also have this exact problem with the builtin camera in my 1420n which
uses the uvcvideo driver. Since, the posts above report the bugs with
the gspca driver as well, I think it is safe to assume the problem is
with cheese and not the webcam drivers.

shutdown patch, so my guess is that it did in fact make it upstream
(ajax is quite good at putting work into upstream). So I'm 99% sure
we'll automatically pick up the fixes once we incorporate xserver 1.5 in

(versioning problem), and I'm preparing it.

RT61 PCI (module rt61pci) on Hardy Heron sometimes (during downloading files
from Internet) crashes Ubuntu. The screen freezes, the keyboard leds - capslock

I found quite a good workaround (gksudo kcontrol) that seems to fix the
DCOP server setup so that plain kcontrol works afterwards - not sure how
long the fix will last though.

I think that Glipper still has a problem.

It would be interesting to find out if
kdesu kcontrol
had the same beneficial effect:
DCOP Cleaning up dead connections.
I cannot test this since I no longer have this problem, but I believe
that the observation above from Richard holds the clue to the solution.

Administrator button fails
Hey, I'm a debian user, and with xorg's xf86 video intel driver
(versions 2.2.1 and 2.3.1) and using grub2 and using grub2 to have a
splash image, I don't get any real text in my X sessions. Only text
from xterm and xemacs appear. Not windowmaker, gnome, kde, pidgin,
firefox, thunderbird, etc.

Is there a bug or blueprint for an automatic test which would check the
repositories against these kind of dependency issues and warn the
maintainers? They're a mere annoyance for me but I've had other users
run to me because they felt that they've somehow wrecked their system.
