I'm using a bottom panel with the autohide feature in my xfce4 setup
which is working fine using only one output 1024x768. When I'm enabling
my second screen which has a higher resolution of 1280x1024 the bottom
panel stays hidden all the time.

I don't have a test machine but has anyone tried disabling EXA Pixmaps
with the radeon driver? With Maverick this saved me much trouble on R300
dualhead setup including crashes of the x server...

under heavy load.
The reason for
Same problem but after updating a working amarok karmic installation:
amarok didn't find the former collection and even after deleting the
folder in /home/user/kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok the collection
cannot be rebuild.

I'm affected by the bug as well. Same symptomatic as decribed by BP_CH.
The proposed fix of reinstalling rsyslog didn't work for me. I'm not
using french locales - I'm using german or ES_AR most of the time.
