The problem is, that I just can't reproduce this bug - it works fine on Fedora 9/10. Actually, Alarm-Clock does nothing special - it just initializes GStreamer, starts a alarm watching thread (which executes every second) and then launches a GTK UI. If it freezes the whole system, then it has to
