This bug seems to be fixed for me on raring for Zenboox UX31E (sandy bridge). Earlier I didn't notice the bug at all since I only rarely used external monitor. The original reported also had SB, so if someone with Ivy Bridge still has this problem I think it's better to have a separate bug. **
