Hey, there is a difference between that and People like French Maid TV and
corporate people trying to cash in on the vlogging thing without
understanding it

I would not go to a videoblogging track of BarcampUSA that is outside
my state. I would go to Vloggercon.

Okay so maybe we need to do the Hellmann's/Good Foods kind of thing.
If somebody (anybody?!?) can organize a VC07 event in NY/Boston/WDC or
Ohio between now and June/July they should make with the plans and
call for help ASAP to make it happen. This would take care of the
east of the Mississippi

Just my 2 cents here and not sure if anyone cares butI think
combining vloggercon with another event right now would be a
mistake. I can understand the allure of combining 'vlogging' with
something esle already in place, but by doing so you could overwhelm
people. I'm still struggling
I hear you loud and clear, Heath, which is why I wanted to make sure
everyone understood that barcampusa encompasses EVERYONE, not just
videobloggers.
It also does not address my heartfelt need for a Video Vertigo Summit,
which I may just find a venue for separately.
Also, though I have some NYC

Vlogging as a subset of another event is fine, but too far away for me
in Chicago. I'd go to Vloggercon as it's own event. There's so much
happening with video on the net that I think an event that would
expand to include new media businesses, the
Robin, this is how I'm seeing it at this time. The group that helped
put together VloggerCon 06 did a great job. It took a lot of effort,
conversations, sponsorship, air miles and a few vloggers putting their
necks on the line financially (signing contracts and stuff).
