download it in my bundle. For 4.5.1 the link is

It could perhaps be just different timing. If your wait value is
no then you're potentially in a race between the service being
stopped by StopServices and being deleted by DeleteServices.

Is there any reason that the service would take a long time to shut
down? Or the containing process? Even if wait is yes you get 30

I discovered the problem. The service had run-time issues. Once I cleared up
these problems, the installer began to work properly (i.e. removing the service
from the service list upon uninstall). I guess for some reason it was marked
invalid and it took the cs.exe command to force it out of the
