Unfortunately, no.

Several things could go wrong:

* Something on your computer interferes with the connection (I think somebody
once had an issue with peerguardian installed)
* Your ISP messes with the connection
* The server does not like your IP address
* The server does not like your account
* You've been cursed by the elder gods

I would try installing an XMPP client on your mobile device and trying to
connect from it, both via your wifi (same external IP and ISP) and turning wifi
off via cellular data (different IP and ISP), to narrow it down.

You can also try the web client at https://chat.jabb.im/
and maybe check https://jabb.im/antispam/ (whatever it may be)

See if the Jabbim FAQ helps (Q. 4 in particular), and try their online support at
https://chat.jabb.im/?r=jab...@chat.jabb.im&n=
or email them at supp...@jabbim.zendesk.com
In fact that should have been your first course of action, given that the
problem manifests with multiple clients.

Also, try creating an account with a different server (jabber.at is the one I
use) and see if you get the same issue with them.

As a last resort, sacrifice a black goat to Cthulhu.

Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
Maybe one of the other users on this list can offer something.

Good luck!

can't find much. I have attached the log. Maybe you can see something and help
me out. Many many thanks!!!

Pidgin is a client, just like Miranda, PSI and the others you tried.
If the disconnection happens with all of the clients, I doubt there is anything
you can do on the Pidgin side to resolve.

One thing you could do is start Pidgin with debugging and then look at the log
for possibly more detailed errors, though I don't know how helpful it will be.

My batch file (on Windows) looks like this:

         @echo off
         set PURPLE_UNSAFE_DEBUG=1
         set PURPLE_GNUTLS_DEBUG=1
         set PURPLE_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1
         "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Pidgin\pidgin.exe" -d 2>&1 >
"%APPDATA%\.purple\debug-%date%-%time::=.%.log"

Good luck!

Hi, I have a big problem. It keeps disconnecting me. I use XMPP with an account
at jabbim.com. I use a roaming internet from Three UK. I get this error: Lost
connection with server: Remote host closed connection.

Every 3-5 minutes it disconnects me. The problem is that I even tried with
other clients such a PSI and Miranda, etc. and it does the same. It disconnects
me. What should it do?

As internet I use a hotspot on my phone with internet from Three. Is roaming
because I am in another country.

Please help me!! Thanks
