Thanks John, I'd just as soon avoid IIS but unfortunately it's something that my company uses.:-)
I also think that there's enough people who have to/choose to use IIS that it would be helpful to figure out what causes this problem. The last time I solved it I'd been beating my head against the wall for so long that I couldn't remember what I did when it finally did work.
