To add to the list , "webpages" .[chat tabs, mail tabs , info bars , in- page popups, modal popups ] All the major sites have close buttons for these on the top right. [I'm not even sure if there is a site which places the "close" in a different location ] When we are trying to blur the the distinction between desktop and the web, moving the close button to the left further widens the gap. User will now have to get used to two different positions for the same action.
