Hey Joseph. Thanks for your time and quick reply. I have no problem trying 4.14. However, this is a little outside of a standard install. I'm running '/' on top of ZFS. I'm pretty sure ZFS isn't out yet for 4.14. So if I install that version without ZFS included, my system won't boot.
One good thing is I kept my 17.04 '/' dataset. So I've been looking for config differences and Google-ing trying to diagnose it myself. I did notice a bug with similar symptoms (Bug #1681513) stating there is a new privacy feature added to NetworkManager. Something about MAC Address Randomization breaking some WiFi adapters. Comparing my old and new NetworkManager config. There's a new line that wasn't there before. Could this new feature be causing it? Just stabbing in the dark here. :-| ** Attachment added: "NetworkManager.conf artful" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1732057/+attachment/5009116/+files/NetworkManager.conf -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1732057 Title: WiFi Microcode SW Error Detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1732057/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
