Did a little more digging in my old logs. I think I found kernel logs from my zesty install. iwlwifi firmware jumped from v22.391740.0 up to v31.532993.0 (probably during upgrade). Shortly after that is when I experienced the first 'Microcode SW error detected'.
Would it be worth me reverting back to v22 and trying that? I'm definitely a n00b when it comes to kernel/firmware stuff. Not sure how it all works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1732057 Title: WiFi Microcode SW Error Detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1732057/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
