Say you have got all of your folder paths into a val folders: Seq[String]

val add = sc.parallelize(folders, folders.size).mapPartitions { iter =>
  val folder = iter.next
  val status: Int = <call your executable with the folder path string>
  Seq(status).toIterator
}
