Oscar,I am also curious about the per diem issue. I inquired from the Treasurer and was told that there were some "personal dues" and "personal issues" that need to be resolved. I don't know what that means. I must say that I am very disappointed by the fact that Wikimedia Kenya volunteers went to the United States without being given a per diem, especially bearing in mind that there was a Board Majority Approval requesting the treasurer to issue out a per diem. No offence to the Board but if you guys are incapacitated and can not execute the resolutions you make, then it makes us, as members, question your mandate and power. --Abbas.

I agree we should be accountable but there is a reason why there is a board. Discussing finances in large groups especially when prompted by a dispute could cause tension. Lets handle things right.
