to begin to tell you just how fortunate we are, boys and girls. Derrick
May is one of the most globetrottin'ist DJs on the international
circuit. He will be coming to Charlotte, NC for ONE NIGHT ONLY.
I cannot emphasize how important it is for you to be at this party if you
love techno or house music.

Derrick May * TRANSMAT RECORDS, Detroit, MI -- Derrick May is one of
Techno's founding fathers, often called the "Miles Davis of Techno". He is
the founder of the record label Transmat which is responsible for classic
tracks like "Nude Photo" and "Strings of Life". May's innovations and
versatility mean that he works as a producer, a musician and a remixer. He
dj's all over the world: Tokyo, Melbourne, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and
Berlin as well as of course Detroit. He, along with Kevin Saunderson and
Juan Atkins are often credited as being THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF TECHNO!
The man is truly a legend and NOT to be missed. If this were a rock
concert, having Derrick May would be like having Jimi Hendrix play.
