RADIO love it or hate it, it won't go away but maybe change...I doubt it

I have been watching this thread and was not going to comment but....
I currently work on air at the River which is sister station to 89x. I was
on air at 89x for over a year. I used to be on every Saturday from 7-10pm. (
Around '96-'98 ) I used to play 313ers music under my backsells/frontsells.
I often told the listeners who it was but then was told by my Program
Director to stop. Then he told me to lose the beds( music to talk over ) I
tried to get more awareness for the music but it's difficult because
mainstream radio is about MONEY. Plain and simple. No need to debate it. I
have been on air in Detroit for almost 5 years now and I am happy that we
have teamed up with Science. It's what we need. As for Detroit Technology,
that will always be a sore point with many people, really it doesn't matter
because it's done. It's over. It's in the past. So lets move forward.
