right heres what happened: The choice as you remember was either Derrick May or Carl Craig, with Derrick getting the majority of the votes. So decided Derrick May at the Temple was to be the one. Found out thru the week that Carl Craig had actual cancelled his gig, and thought well at least I picked the right one to go to.
On day before he was supposed to play there was a rumour going around Galsgow saying that Derrick wasn't going to be playing either. Tryed all the usual suspects couldn't get a answer either way. Nite of the gig waited til 10.00pm and phoned the Temple, and yes, Derrick May was actual still in Japan, he was supposed to play somewhere in Belgium on the Friday and then onto Glasgow, but alas never mind the flight. So ended up going to see Andrew Weatherall at the Art school, for some banging techno, which to be honest was a poor replaced for derrick! jason jason
