Bloch,

He is trying to have midi sequences on seperate tracks along side wav files....He could do what you're saying cubase does in ACID(which is not a toy---it's an audio program for making music...) If he samples them they become wav, or another signal- not MIDI. So, why should he get cubase to do what he already does.

Or can he take the audio loops he creates in sonic foundry and throw them up in a linear fashion in Cubase---and the run midi sequences with them--I'm confused.

I THINK HE NEEDS PRO-TOOLS OR LOGIC...

even though you use Cubase instead of Acid, you will have to sample the
synth lines (if you want it all in the computer anyway)
