Hey all,
no Dr Eich this time... just straight up Carl. Lots of improvised keyboard
playing, especially during Climax and At Les (in original style). Awesome
live mixing and effects... he was really working the effects box (looked
like a Pioneer) overtime, eyes at the ceiling... almost like they were
rolled back into his skull. A man possessed.
Advice for listmembers who are gonna check him out on the rest of his
Australian dates?
1. Trust the force. (it was a lukewarm turn-out in Melbourne... but Carl had
us begging for more)
2. Leave your preconceptions at the door. (for about 10 mins Carl broke it
down 4-Hero/drum'n'bass style... or was that Carl Craig style)
3. Be prepared to shake-shake-shake yer pants.
