DeFocus is about releasing high caliber electronic listening music for people to enjoy both emotionally and physically. If you log in to www.egroups.com and do a search under "deFocus", you'll come up with an e-list forum for the discussion of all things deFocus related. Here's a message i sent to the list a week ago.. CiM's "Reference" cd/lp has not been released, yet. It will officially hit the streets on June 26.00. DeFocus has established distribution through Pinnacle, and via Dutch East India located at www.dutch-east.com. Clair at deFocus also has ties with Smallfish at www.smallfish.co.uk. I hope the rest of the info below helps you out a bit. I'm sure you'll see this title available at Riouxs, Skimo, Bent Crayon and other fine establishments. The new CiM release entitled "Reference" includes 22 tracks of spaced out digital funk with finely tuned Detroit flavored rhythms. These tracks have never been released before, and --according to the press release they span from `96-`00. You can definitely see the array of sounds on "Reference" as it clearly credits Simon previous and current work. DeFocus does it again!
