i love hawtin. i just think the future of detroit techno will come from
people that spin detroit more than once or twice a year. i think it will
come from someone spinning vinyl regularly in the ghettos, not some cd in
everyone's stereo at home in the suburbs. after they innovate then they can
travel the world and distribute the sounds; they can become figureheads and
ambassadors of our music. what is really influencing the future of detroit
techno is what is happening in detroit.
