Haven´t heard that track as I don´t recognize the name but I was at Nordelius studio when he did a track and it had a, I think it is, a Brazelian or some Southamerican instrument where you have like a small bucket with a skin that you rub with a towel. Should be the same instrument and track that you´re thinking of. Don´t know the name of it but it´s used in sambalike tracks.
