Friends + Family and lovers of good house music,

Tomorrow night looks like my last night DJ'ing in Boston for a while, at
least as a resident of Boston. With my move
to NYC in two weeks, I invite all of you to come down to the phoenix
landing and hear the Giles Dickerson House
Music DJ Blowout. I promise to drop nothing less than my freakiest,
ass-shakin'-est, jacked out, bass-moving, head
spinning, sweat until you can't breathe, jump up and down house tracks.
If things go well in the studio tonight I'll
have a few of my own tracks on Minidisc as well to drop in the mix.
Below is my good friend shannon's invite that
he sent out to all the Wednesday's mailing list subscribers, and man,
Shannon is really flattering me here. I'm all
choked up man!

Also, it my GOOD GOOD GREAT AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL friend Haimeng "The
Ocean Sprout" Sit's unofficial
birthday bash so be sure and wish her a well deserved happy birthday,
and buy that girl a drink will you!

Hope to see you all down there, I'll probably start around 11:00, or
soon thereafter, I still need to follow up with the
crew. I do guarantee this as well, the sound system will be nothing less
than amazing, thanks to the sonic solution
of Blake.

Hope to see you all there getting your groove on!!!! If you're lucky,
I'll have recorded the set and I just might have
an MP3 of it floating around somewhere *wink*

Here's the address : THE PHOENIX LANDING : CENTRAL SQUARE CAMBRIDGE :

This Wednesday @ The Phoenix we will bid a fond farewell to one of
Boston's great talents. GILES DICKERSON is a phenomenal house DJ.
Drawing from the jacking sounds of Detroit and Paris, his style is
unique in our community. He has been representing this music over the
airwaves for many years, taking over the long running Saturday night
techno show, "Acid Burn", on WZBC. This show evolved into FLATPLASTIC
FM, the radio arm of an internet concept Giles had been developing.
Having left the radio studios in pursuit of a purely internet based
medium, FLATPLASTIC.COM hosts a new house mix every week. Giles'
creativity also manifests itself visually; his graphic design talents
can be found via a more recent project, PIXELDIVISION.COM. It is this
arm that is responsible for the fliers for Wednesdays @ The Phoenix
Landing.

Giles will be relocating to New York City next month; we hope you'll
join us to dig his sophisticated grooves, and wish him well.
