I think what makes a great DJ is someone who plays music that makes you feel things you wouldn't normally feel and takes you on a journey that connects you with something you aren't so aware of in your everyday life.
Has anyone had the experience of seeing a DJ's name on a flyer and getting such a strong vibe from it that you know you have to go, even though you haven't heard of them. And then when you go, it's as fantastic as you'd hoped. I discovered Detroit techno that way. Cheers Louise
