for the life of me i cant remember the name of that old documentary from the early 90's that i always used to see on PBS with the interview of derrick may in the junk yard.
i dont think it was specific to either detroit or techno, and may have actually been about house music. i think there was an alternate version as well where the narration was in japanese...
