Hello to all Chicago-area 313 friends- JACKSON finally re-launches in January 2009 with a renewed commitment to bring the widest range of modern electronic sound to Chicago... in party format! For our January 16th re-launch, we're excited to present a Chicago exclusive; the DEBUT Chicago performance from the elusive and world renowned LOS HERMANOS, direct from Detroit's seminal UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE camp. A live performance in the fullest sense which has rocked clubs and festivals the world over, this three piece will be bringing the quintessential UR live experience within the intimate confines of Sonotheque! Also featured on the night will be Chicago-based JEROME DERRADJI (Still Music), as well as a special tag team from January Birthday boy AUDIOPHILE (Meiotic/MSDJZ) and MATTHEW MARTIN (Meiotic/MSDJZ). To add to all the excitement, we'll be tying this in as an Inauguration celebration for President Obama!!! This will also be an after party for those attending the Jeff Mills film screening at the Chicago Cultural Center earlier in the evening.
