It's how we know you're not a robot, dude. As an aside -- I know my way around an audio editor, and I can do all sorts of chops and cuts that I defy anyone to detect. But I've never been able to edit a DJ mix without it sounding obvious and stupid.
I'd say that's a good thing -- maybe they're indivisible wholes.
