I have only watched them being used, but I have heard that Vista caused problems in Serato and most people uninstalled Vista and went back to XP. Not sure about Vista and Traktor though. Ask wherever you go to buy it or hit up some other message boards. Macs don't seem t have these problems though. ;) kekekeke
I know that a few of the bigger clubs here have a Serato set up ready to go, so it seems to be the standard. Not necessarily better, but just more widely used.
