Hot off the heels of his latest, "The Make Up The Break Up" (5 out of 5 stars - RA), Berlin based minimal techno heavyweight BRUNO PRONSATO (aka Steven Ford) makes his triumphant return to Chicago after making ceilings cry the world over. His various recordings for the heralded likes of Perlon, Hello?Repeat, Minus, and Spectral Sound have Bruno's unique sound stamp - the infusing groove inflicted programming with an experimental sound aesthetic – written all over them. Resident Advisor calls him "a cultivated aesthete with a clear reverence for music history in all its permutations", as well as "maddeningly intricate, complex and -- crucially -- intriguing than anyone else out there"... we'd give him hell for the accolades were it not for the fact that it's the honest-to-god truth. Dj LADY D brings her unmistakable brand of house funk and Chicago jack to the soundsystem, and HERNAN SANCHEZ keeps it sexy bringing his funk inflicted techno heat to an evening that promises to be remembered a looong time comin...
