Don't feel too bad - I sorta got techno as a 40th birthday present
(about 8 years after its birth), and I had a_ lot_ of catching up to do.
I didn't get a lot of it at first, especially the harder stuff (I took
"Waveform Transmissions Vol. 1" back to Tower - later on, ended up
buying the selfsame CD again) .

It still bugs me that I never discovered this music earlier. I'd heard stuff
like this on some local radio shows and even had several opportunities to
get more into it in High School and College. It just didn't click until some
time later.
