Hiya Martin, Manchester had soul and reggae pirates but don't recall a techno/house one but I'm going back a long time to 88ish when I was there for a year or so but I could have missed 'em on the dial. They might have been more prevelant in the early nineties as jungle broke.
Leeds, has had pirates as long as I can remember and still does. The main focus was soul and reggae but the N.O.W. Crew/DJ Martin and others used to be on playing a real mixed bag of music inc hiphop, bleep, disco, techno etc Might be some usefull information here about the UK scene here http://www.towerblockradio.com/page.php?17 Ravi -----Original Message----- From: Martin Dust [mailto:mar...@dustscience.com] Sent: 17 May 2011 13:42 To: Mann, Ravinder Cc: list 313; Rob Taylor Subject: Re: (313) Pirates (Toddla T "Take Me Back") On 17 May 2011, at 13:28, Mann, Ravinder wrote: > Hi, > > A slight tangent to this.
