Hi Kent! I don't know if it is the very first jazz version of strings.. but I can say that I saw it coming from a long time. Personally speaking I liked it, but I think that some songs shouldn't be touched. I'm affraid that we will listen to this version in every venue, every lounge, everywhere, from here.
