Hey Philip,
I'll take a stab in the dark, one of the Yamaha DX series , or maybe
a Kurzweil K2000. But with your statement alone of saying it's an organ
with the floatiness of strings,
pushes me towards the DX series.

in very general terms i would say it's somewhere between an organ and
a string / pad sound. it seems to have the timbre of an organ and the
'floatiness' of strings. it's quite delicate and has a flutey / vocal
/ choir quality too. you can hear it in r-tyme's 'illusion', kenny
larkin's 'my reflection' as well as actress's 'marble plexus'.
any ideas?
